Meditation Specialist Teacher Training
With the growing health benefits through meditation becoming evident throughout hospitals and clinics across the United States, there is an increased demand for qualified and competent teachers and therapists. The most sought after professionals in healthcare will have knowledge of more than just traditional allopathic medicine. The Meditation Specialist Competency Training weaves ― Science and Evidence ― in order to provide participants with the most comprehensive training currently available anywhere. This program won the ANCC accredited Nursing Skills Building Competency Program several years in a row.
The complete competency training consists of more than 60 hours of coursework that fully immerse participants in the art and science of meditation in order to gain the total experience. The teacher training component is for those participants that have completed the foundation coursework and wish to further their knowledge and skills in order to sit for the National Meditation Specialist™ Board Exam and become board-certified as Meditation Specialists™. This continuing education program prepares you to work with specific populations, such as those with cancer, pain, cardiac disease, as well as those with stress, anxiety, and depressive disorders in even more advanced ways. Graduates will gain advanced knowledge, skills, tools, and theory for incorporating meditation into their professional practice, or to develop a private meditation therapy practice, as well as the opportunity to be Board Certified.
The Meditation Specialist competency training is designed to allow participants to progress from introductory to advanced teaching concepts in core content areas.
