The Healing Power of Meditation . . .
When you think of meditation, do you picture a passive spiritual practice that takes decades to show benefit? Think again. Today, leading health professionals and educators are prescribing meditation for everything from chronic pain to cancer prevention. Studies have shown that if you meditate for half an hour daily, you will be able to face life with peace and inner strength. Meditation is the most powerful mental and nerve tonic available today. Now imagine combining meditation science with evidence-based nutritional, breathing and relaxation techniques. Dr. Susan Taylor did.
The Healing Power of Meditation Where Heart and Science Connect will do for your mind what yoga does for your body. More than just a theoretical study your will gain: skills to digest undesired emotions that bind the heart; practical pointers for bringing meditation into your professional activities; keys to furthering your personal meditation training; and the fundamental principles of healing through traditional yoga meditation. Under Dr. Taylor’s expert guidance, you’ll practice the meditation sequence and master the five steps to bring mindfulness into focus to disengage from matters that bind the heart.
